1 (8-ounce) jar blackberry jelly
1 pint fresh blackberries
Juice of 1/2 fresh lemon
- Place the jelly in a saucepan and gently melt it over medium heat.
- Remove it from the heat and add the lemon juice and blackberries, stirring gently to coat the berries with the sauce.
- Serve the sauce warm or at room temperature over cake or ice cream.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
